Terra Cotta Figures at Xian

Xian,China, Asia

Dimensions: for the cavern754 ft long,203ft wide, and 16 ft deep. There are about 6,000 figures ,and are around 1.8 meters in height.

Built in: 347 BC,discovered in 1974 and some part of it in 1976

Purpose: The retinue of China's first emperor knew from the moment he became emperor that they were going to build a tomb. He ordered builders to begin  his tomb, and he wanted his grave to be guarded for all eternity by a replica of his own army.

Among the Faces of the solidiers,there are no two faces alike.

Originally the figures were painted in bright colors however, over the two thousand years they have silently stood guard, and the color had faded and worn off

Xian is one of the six ancient capital sites in China, served as the capital city for a number of dynasties including the Hoe, The Qin,Sul, and Tang for a total of 10,000 years.

 

Problem:

An armored general stands about 197 cm high, one section of his armor is 96.5 long. What percent of his body does this cover? Another section is 61 cm what percent of the armored general is that?
